Hi.

I have C6745 DSK, CCS v5.5 and SAU510-USB JTAG Emulator.

My problem: register values are reset only when power reset of DSK or when i press the button ''System reset'' in CCS .

When I press ''restart'' button in CCS -> register values are not reset.

When I start a new Debug session in CCS -> register values are not reset.

1) How to reset registers when i start a new Debug session in CCS ?

2) When i press ''System reset'' button in CCS I have the next:

What I'm doing wrong ?

Hi Alex,
All behaviors are expected one.
If you want to reset the all the registers, recommended to do manual power OFF and power ON the board (POR).

Ok, thanks for your answer.

I have TPS650061 (Power Management IC) on my board.
When I connect 1- pin (Manual reset) to GND I have reset on pin-20 (Open drain active low reset output), but Power is not OFF and than ON.
Is this a correct ?

In addition to my answers, yes, we can do press "Reset" button to reset all the registers.

Yes, it is an expected behavior from TPS650061. When you connect the MR pin to ground, the RST pin get asserted which in turn resets your device/system based on your connection. It will not recycle the power.
