Hi.

Please tell me if we need to poll the PHYRDY bit of the SDRAM Status Register (SDRSTAT) at C6746 device power up?
In TRM, datasheet, Wiki and sample code, I cannot find any information how to use the PHYRDY bit in device power up sequence.
My customer is polling it after the DDR initialization described at TRM 13.2.13.1 "Initializing Following Device Power Up or Reset". Is it really needed?

Hi Tsutomu,
Not really required, actually we will check that bit when we are not able to read/write anything on DDR ( if any problem while we do board bringup ) for cross verify.
You can follow the same sequence which mentioned in TRM.

You can follow the gel file for reference or starterware bootloader code where DDR will get initialized.
