Is there a C6748 SHA-512 "c" source implementation?

Hi HRi,

For C6748, the SHA-512 source code is not available.

However, when I google it, able to find the C code for this algorithm. How about downloading it and compiling for C6748??

We have SHA -256 implementation that we provide here:
http://www.ti.com/tool/crypto

but I don`t believe we have optimized SHA-512 that is publicly distributed.

The 2 options that you can explore is to cross compile the C code from OpenSSL or look at thirdparty like CRYPTSOFT which provide crypto graphic libraries for TI devices.

OpenSSL has C64x+ assembly implementation of AES, RC4, ChaCha20, SHA1, SHA256, SHA512, Poly1305, GHASH, as well as multi-precision arithmetics. C6748 is C64x+ processor. The only caveat about SHA1 and SHA256 is that they use AMR register that is not normally preserved by compiler-generated interrupt prologue/epilogue, which means that user has to take care of it him/herself.

Correction. That AMR register thing applies to all SHA implementations, i.e. even to SHA512.
