Hi Titus,
Am able to import the project into ccs and not doing creation of new project, but when i load(build) the program,am getting the above error like what i have shown in attachment.I uninstalled SDK and installed again(thought that there might be problem with SDK) and build the program again, but still the problem was same ,no .out file generated.
How to over come with this and what may be the problem?
Hi Mohammad,
OK.
Right click and go to project properties and check the following.
1. Resource-->Path variables -- verify all the path are correct. Particularly the project location.
2. Resource --> Linked resources --> linked resources --> verify that the source file paths are correct.
Hi Shankari,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
I have opend the compiler include path option and linker path option, there i have seen that the paths are standard and it is given by texas in double inverted commas (" ")so i did not change.
And other thing is when i do the import and just bulid in another laptop,am not getting any errors.
so why it is happening in my laptop only,as i followed same steps and i dint change any path, simply i import and build what i did in my laptop.
Hi Mohammed,
Thanks for posting the screenshots.
Sometimes this error may show up if the workspace gets corrupted.
I would suggest you to create a new work space in CCS and then import the example again into the newly created work space and then build.
Please refer to the below link for creating a new workspace.
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Troubleshooting_CCSv6#Corrupt_workspace_folder
Please do revert if this suggestion does not solve. As well post the screenshots after trying this suggestion.
Hi Shankari,
I did the clean of workspace by following procedure from video what you sent the link, then i import the program in new work space and when i build again the problem is same, same type of error what i was getting earlier.
And i reverted again means in properties i removed "-clean" after "cc sstudio.exe" .and created the new workspace and imported and built, result is same.
NO improvement.
thank you.
Hi Mohammad,
CCSv6.1.1 will work with bios_C6sdk 2)00_00_00. That shouldn't be a problem.
My suspect/guess is the space in the name of the folder "program files". i.e., the space between "program" and "files" or the space given in between the name of the folder "Texas" and "Instruments". ( This seems to be more illogical even for myself ... :) but still it is worth trying. )
we will attempt something like, "C:\ti\\pdk_C6748_2_0_0_0\C6748_StarterWare_1_20_03_03\build\c674x\cgt_ccs\c6748\lcdkC6748\vpif_lcd_loopback" so that in the path, there wont be any possibility of errors if we avoid spaces in the naming convention of the folders.
Create a folder without any space, something like "ti" under the "C" directory and install the starter-ware packages. Import and rebuild again.
Please revert after you try this.
Hi Shankari,
I have created "c\ProgramFiles\TexasInstruments" and installed sdk here,I got .out file generated in Binary folder of my project..
see the attchments.
