Hey every one,

I am worked with LCDK 6748 with ccs v6 now I purchased new LCDK6748 with XDS100v2 emulator I am facing the problem when I tried to load a program to target that I attached below for your refernece.

It seems you need to enable the adaptive clock (use 1MHz) in target configuration settings.

After followed your suggestion same error i am getting first time then if i try to connect once again I am getting the below error.

Dear Naveen,
Please make sure that you are not using OMAPL138 board. (may be you are mentioning that C6748 instead of OMAPL138)
For me, it seems you are trying to connect the DSP alone using C6748 target configuration but actual chip is OMAPL138 on your board (might be).
Typically I have seen this issue in customers who would try to connect the DSP core before connecting ARM core in OMAPL138 chip.(OMAPL138 = ARM+DSP)
In OMAPL138, ARM is the master so we need to connect ARM core first then DSP.
So, you won't face this kind of issue (target is in held reset) in C6748 board.

Can you please check the part no on the chip ?
Provide the screen shot of the same.

In case, you are getting this issue on C6748 boar, then please let me know, might be some HW issue on your board like RESET part.

Dear Mohammad,
Can you please do the following steps:
1) Restart your PC
2) Create a new target configuration using your board and emulator name.
For this, in view option, you can see the target configuration, click it and create a target configuration.
Seems to me, you are creating target configuration in project itself.
3) And do Test connection now.

Hi Titus,

For your kind information,Mr.Naveen is not using OMAPL138,instead he is using single core lcdkc6748 for that he is getting above error.For HW issue i uploaded the pic of the board here,please go through the attachment.

Hi Titus,

I did the procedure what you said above.Once i got the output,but when i removed the power cable and when i reconnect the power cable to the kit and when i debug the code,i got error.The kit what am using is been uploaded above for Mr.Naveen's reply.

You mean, you are able to work for the first time and when you debug for the second and getting the issue ?

If yes, please do proper procedure before removing the power cable, you should disconnect the target in CCS and power OFF the board, other wise you would have get unexpected issue in every time.

As I said in previous post, you should disconnect the target (select the DSP core and disconnect it) properly every time and then POWER OFF the board.

Hi Titus,

Thanks for your reply,but now it is not connecting at all when we launch the kit n try to connect we are getting unexpected errors.(by default it is Disconnected:Unknown).what to do to make the kit to work fine.

Have you followed the correct procedure while disconnecting the emulator and connecting the emulator ?
If you remove the Emulator from board without powering OFF then it could corrupt/damage the emulator.
Also if you power OFF the board without disconnecting the target from CCS, then you may get unexpected issues while connecting the target to CCS.
