dsk6713 with induction motor

Dear sir,

Is it possible us to work with dsk6713 and induction motor (or other drives.) for any small applicaiton.?

If not,which DSP kit is used to collaborate the external devices like induction motor to it and run the program.(just like what we do in microcontrollers as duming the code , connecting the DC motor or any other sensor and running it.)

As i have seen the texas DSP kits ,it is not having any terminals(free GPIO pins) to connect the peripherals.

Its much better to use C6748/OMAPL138 LCDK board.
OMAPL138 (ARM+DSP) where you can run Linux for controlling purpose and DSP for processing stuff.
Also we have lot of package and SWs for this platform (OMAPL138/C6748)

Hi Titus,

I wish to run in windows7/8 with CCSv6.2 only not in Linux(as am not expertise in linux).Can we run Motor using WINDOWS and OMAPL138?

but we dont have any GPIO ports over there in OMAPL138 when we see new kit,where should we connect the motors or any other sensors?

Do we have standard programs from texas side for this kind of stuff(means running motor)?

I need detail information for above 3 questions.

Also we have lot of package and SWs for this platform (OMAPL138/C6748)

what package ans Software you have for the same?

OMAPL138 has around 100 GPIO pins and other peripherals SPI, I2C which are used to connect sensors.

the above links is for TMS320C240, TMS320F240 DSP, what about OMAPL138?
