The following post seems to suggest that the the latest AIS tool v1.13 has issues when used in conjunction of SYSBIOS from the McSDK:

Could you please confirm if it is (or not) the case?

We are looking into the root cause of this issue. I believe that there should be any issue with SYSBIOS projects as long as users follow the instructions provided here:
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Boot_Images_for_OMAP-L138

Please let us know if you are running into any issues and we will get back to you after trying it on the LCDK boards that we have.
