I want to implement active noise cancellation (FxLMS algorithm) for a class project. Basically, the system will listen to the environmental noise, reverse the signal and play it to cancel out the noise at a certain spot.
I understand that a short delay is critical to this project. So I start to look for DSP devices. I am totally new to DSP, and the first DSP I googled out was the TMDSDSK6713 DSP starter kit. However, I have no idea whether this DSP will suffice, or any other DSPs will be better for this project.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot.
