RTOS/TMS320C6713B: TI-RTOS Port for C671x Processors

Hi,

I am trying to use TI-RTOS on TMS320C6713 but couldn't find any TI-RTOS port for c671x family.. From TI-RTOS download page, there seems to be no PORT (support) available for c671x devices. The latest release that support c6000 has only c66xx and c674x support as given in release notes. Kindly direct me if there is any TI-RTOS version that support c671x device.

Second, the old DSP/BIOS contains port for c671x devices but is it a good idea to use the many years old TI-RTOS kernel i.e. BSP/BIOS?

TI RTOS solution is only available for C674x DSP and newer ARM, DSP and MCU devices. The device that you are using is fairly old and is part of our legacy DSP portfolio on which the software is still based on DSPBIOS.

The porting effort will be non trivial so we recommend that you update to the C674x DSP family or C66x DSP family to get the latest software support for these devices.

The DSP BIOS and the BSP package is still available for customers to use but the support for this is limited so if this is a new design, I would recommending updating to the C674x family.
