CCS/TMS320C6713B: How to take sampled digital data from TMS320C6713 dsk

Respected sir,

I am new to TMS320C6713 and Code Composer Studio. If I want to sample a actual sine wave, then What is the overall procedure to perform this sampling of actual sine wave using TMS320C6713. And from where I can receive sampled data.

Ayesha,

This is a fairly old DSP so if this is a new design, we recommend switching to a newer DSP for better support and updated software.

Having said that the advantage of mature DSP is there is more than enough information on the web to answer your question. Usually you need to interface a ADC with MCBSP on the device to get sampled data into the DSP.

Thanks a lot for your help.

I have a question, can I use AIC23 Codec for sampling of signals other than audio signal? Actually I have read that AIC23 Codec is a Stereo codec and used for audio signals and audio signals are analog signals so can I take sine wave from supply and sample it.
