Linux/TMS320C6416: DSP/BIOS 5.20.01 Linux install cannot be found

Hi,

I am trying to install DSP/BIOS 5.20.01 version for DSP code compilation on Linux.

I tried accessing it from the below link:

http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_registered_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/bios/bios_5_20/index.html

When I try to click on "DSP/BIOS 5.20.01 Linux Install", it is giving me the below error:

An error occurred while processing your request.

Can you please share the working link for this install file? If possible the bios_5_20_00_22 version would be better.

Can you try the following:
after downloading the bin file execute chmod +x <install_file.bin> and then ./<nstall_file.bin>

I am unable to download the bin file itself.
It gives me the below error:
An error occurred while processing your request.

Strange, I just downloaded the binary without any problems. I don't think the repository requires any special rights. Probably the server (or a mirror) is not available for you right now, try later.

Hi,

Yes, it is quite strange because I am able to download the windows install file. When I try to download the linux install file, I get the same error.

Is there any other way to share the install file?

I am not aware if there are other repositories for this old rtos kernel. I am looping the RTOS team to elaborate.

I am not aware of another repository either. It looks like the download link for version 5.20.05 is working, can you use that?

Hi,

I am working on porting the code compilation from windows to linux. Apparently in windows we are used version 5.20.00.22 and we want to align the linux compilation to this.

So, I will need BIOS version 5.20.00.22 or atleast 5.20.01 for the activity to be complete.
