CCS/TMS320C6211B: UNABLE TO CONNECT MY DSK TO THE COMPUTER

I tried to initialize the kit(DSK(DSP STARTER KIT) 6211) as per the given specifications, but it is displaying an error message saying that the configuration failed. Then we tried to troubleshoot the kit using the BIOS port settings as per the alternate requirements. Even on changing the settings, all the ports failed. Kindly provide us with the necessary alternatives to initialize the kit.

What software running and which version running on your board? What release and version you are try to flash on it? Could you post some log or error messages?

Hi Maadhav,

Did you make sure to connect the DSK before installing CCS? If so, it looks like you may need to reconfigure the parallel port in BIOS. You can typically get into BIOS by pressing F2 at boot, but it may vary depending on your system.

Try using the Spectrum Digital Troubleshooting guide to debug if the printer port is supported by your computer,

Verify that the CCS setup configuration selects the correct target and JTAG emulation.
