Hi,

I have a question for FIT and SER(Soft Error Rate).
According to below explanation, SER is much higher than hard failure rate.

And FIT is provided below page with part number.
http://www.ti.com/quality/docs/estimator.tsp

Q) Does “FIT” shown in the estimator page includes failure caused by SER?
Or it includes only hard failure rate?

The information on the public web is for hard failures. The SER information for most devices (including c6713B) is available, but can only be shared with customers under NDA.

If you are interested in the SER information

Please submit this SER data request to the sales support line by using the New Online Support Web Form.

Select “Quality, Reliability, Environmental”
In the description section please make sure you state the full orderable TI device part number.
And state that you need an SER report.

Someone from sales support team will contact you with appropriate response.

Customer would like to have a NDA and get SER data.
Is standard NDA acceptable for this case?

I would recommend going ahead and submitting the request through the link I shared. The customer support team should be able to give you further guidance on the NDA aspects also.
