Black rectangle on the screen with Android pre-built image [AM335x]

Hi,

I have a problem with a AM335x SOM module: when I load an Android OS pre-built image on the Nand, the TFT LCD display seems to be partially covered in the middle-left side with a black rectangle (please see the images below). I am using a Ampire LCD TFT 7" display (res. 800 x 480)

How can I resolve this issue? I'm spending so much time on this, and I can't understand where the problem can be.

Hello Andrea,

Did you confirm that the problem is not with display? Try booting Linux/other version of prebuilt Android and check if the issue occurs.

Hi Aditya,

I tryied to boot also with a Linux prebuilt image and the problem occours too, but with WEC7 (with the same display), all runs well.

perhaps there could be some configuration/environment parameters that I should change in order to make my image suitable for my LCD display?

Please, can anyone give some advice?
