I have a board Devkit8500A with 24 LCD datalines,

and i download omap3evm android 4.0 source code to migrate into my board,

except for timing parameter,i chaned the code form phy.dpi.data_lines= 18 to phy.dpi.data_lines=24

and colormode RGB24U(RGB888),

I dump the register as follows

DISPC_CONTROL=18309

DISPC_GFX_ATTRIBUTES=91

but I found it does not work, the LCD display is still RGB666

who can tell me why?

Hello,
Android 4.0 release is no longer maintained or supported. Only the latest JellyBean 4.2.2 release is supported on TI platforms like AM335x SK, AM335x EVM and BeagleboneBlack in this forum.

Hello,
The last release made for AM37x was ICS as you can see here: www.ti.com/.../androidsdk-sitara (4th row) and no longer supported.
JB 4.2.2 is only supported on AM335x.
