BBB TI-Android-JB ADB Problem

Hi All.

I am using BeagleBone Black(Rev-C) with Image "TI_Android_JB_4.2.2_DevKit_4.1.1_beagleboneblack.tar.gz". I tried the ADB command but no device found. I have enabled the USB-Debugging Option but still ADB failed to detect my BBB. I tested with other Android Phone and ADB works perfect.

Any advise .. how to enable BBB ADB with the TI Image?

Hi,

can you see the beagleboneblack detected as a USB device at least? you should be able to run lsusb on linux and see:
Bus 00X Device 0YY: ID 18d1:d109 Google Inc.

If you do have this, it is probably a configuration issue on the host side:
- check for wrong or incomplete udev rules if permissions are wrong on the device
- check for adb_usb.ini if it contains your device ids
- restart the adb server

If this is not even started, it means USB gadget is probably not running on the beagleboneblack. In this case, you can refer to the ongoing thread to see if that helps: e2e.ti.com/.../403872

Unfortunately my BBB USB is not detecting by Linux.

I have connected both BBB and Nexus Phone with USB and Nexus (18d1:4e22 Google Inc, 343545C22F5700EC) is detected fine.

I tried the same under Windows and result is same.

At past, I used the Android 4.4 Image with BBB where ADB works. The problem is happening when I am using the TI_Android_JB_4.2.2.

Any more comment?
