Kernel panic after UBIFS file system mounting.

Hi All,

As I am using kernel 3.14.26 with dtb file to boot my system.

my file system is present in nand (UBIFS).

While kernel is booting the system in logs its printing that UBIFS has been mounted but then after kernel panic occurs,

I have checked, but getting no idea how to solve this.

please help!

  • Hello,

    From the log, we can tell there is no "init" process available for the kernel to run:
    - either the file is not executable or is not an ARM binary,
    - either the file is not there: did you flash the rootfs on the UBI partition? Did the UBI partition got corrupted, and re-formated? The root partition (ubi0:rootfs) must contains
    the init process (usually in /sbin/init).
