Obtaining logs for Android in AM335x

Hi Experts,

How to obtain the logs for android Kitkat to see the list of modules involved in the data flow of browser application to the hardware Network Interface Card ?

I would like to understand the data flow in the AM335x EVM .

If you want a general overview, there is this slides :

If you want to understand at the android service you can activate log/traces in each service/Manager (i.e. NetworkManager, ConnectivityManager, ...)

Thanks for the link. It is very much useful.

I am curious on the VoIP applications based on IMS.

How the QoS is maintained on the Voice over WiFi sort of solutions ? Is it possible from an application to maintain the QoS on the single network interface where the internet data is exchanged along with it the VoIP data should be injected with the higher priority ?

Strong QoS require priorities. You will need to define how you network should work (i.e. critical applications, low priority app,...).

Here is some interesting tests :

After that, if the WiFi network signal is poor, there will be more delay where you are on WiFi due to packet loss and discarded packets but this delay is not big enough to be noticeable.
