    Hi Robert Smith,

    While I don't have a CCS install with a 4.90 version of BIOS handy, I don't believe the 6437 was supported on DSP/BIOS 4.90.

Can you check your examples directory of your BIOS 4.90 installation?  The examples should have been organized based on hardware platforms (that were supported in the release).

For example, there's probably one for the dsk6711.  E.g.

    typical/examples/dsk6711/bios/clktest

If there is not a "evmDM6437" directory (or similar) then this is a good indication that it really isn't supported.

Yet another way to check is to look for the C64x+ "seed" file.  If the following file is not present, then 6437 isn't supported (since it's a C64x+ core):

    c64xxplus.cdb

For example, you would check a directory similar to the following in the BIOS installation:

    c6000/bios/include/4.90.270/*.cdb

    Steve
