Using I2C On ARM while Debugging DSP

Hi,

On our system the I2C is used by the ARM from Linux and in normal circumstances this works fine.

During debugging of the DSP I connect to the DSP before booting Linux on the ARM and this almost works except that Linux reports an I2C controller time out.

I tried setting the FREE bit in the ICMDR (from UBOOT before connecting to the DSP) but this hasn't helped.

Any thoughts about why the I2C stops working when I connect the debugger to the DSP greatly appreciated!
