Hi community member,

Would you please provide your advice for my request?

Now we would like to use the MMC2(use as SDIO) port for customized board.

Thus, I would like to add the MMC2 driver to Linux.

Now we used the TI AM335x SDK version 7.

Would you please provide your advice about how should we do in order to add?

* I am a beginner of linux development. I apologized for my entry level question.

Hi Kaka,

If you want to enable the MMC2 then you must configure the peripheral as MMC2.

Try to enable the MMC2 support in AM335x's dts file by following the below posts and update us.

Hi Stalin,

Thank you for your advice.

I have already checked that URLs which you introduced in previous post. However, we could not work well the MMC2 even though updated the dts file.

If attach the dts files which I revised, can you check them?

Hi Kaka,

Yes please.

Actually I have not worked with AM335x processors but I can provide suggestions on pin control fns in dts file.

Also attach the bootup log which is booted with latest code change.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Now, we noticed that my customer used the BBB board and used the SDK which Beaglebone.org provided.

Could you please check them even though the SDK is not provided by TI?

If it is difficult for you, I also ask whether anyone can check the beaglebone.org community...

Hi Stalin,

We could connect the Wi-Fi module to Sitara via MMC2 by revising the Device tree file.

* There is no problem for the SDIO settings of Sitara, however I had a mistake for setting for GPIOs for controlling the Wi-Fi module. Thus, we could not connect it at first even though revising the Device tree file.
