 I checked my setenv, but can't figured out what's wrong with that ,or does there any problems that I haven't  noticed yet?

Please help me out  these! Thanks a lot !

  • Hello,

    You could try with another SD Card. Check the card holder on the board as well.

    Best Regards,
    Margarita

  • bootargs=console=ttyO2,115200n8 rootwait root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rw mem=256M earlyprink vram=50M ti816xfb.vram=0:16M,1:16M,2:6M ip=off noinitrd

    Able to access the "mmcblk0p2" partition of your SD card on PC ?

    Try to mention "rootfstype=<type>" in u-boot bootargs.
    Ex:
    If you formatted the SD card in exte fs then
    rootfstype=ext3
  • Thanks! I have tried your suggestion,but no success...Best Regards
  • Thanks!
    By taking your advice,I mentioned "rootfstype=ext3" in my u-boot bootargs, and in the same time ,
    I found a mistake in spelling of "earlyprink",that a "t" was missed!
    then file-system was booted successfully!Thank you !
  • By the way, I have another problem  which still need you help, when I tried  booting file-system via nfs settings;

    would you also help me ou of this problem?

    Thank you in advance!

    best regard!

  • Sounds good.

    By looking to your bootargs, you are trying to boot with STATIC IP address and not through DHCP but it is expecting and calling DHCP boot.

    If you would like to boot with STATIC IP then try the following u-boot env.

    Ex:

    setenv bootargs mem=32M console=/dev/ttyO2,115200 ip=192.168.1.11:::::eth0:off nfsroot=192.168.1.131:/usr/local/filesystemroot=/dev/nfs rw rootwait
  • Thank you very much!
    I took your advice ,and tried several times,now it works!
    best regards!
  • Thanks a lot!
    What a pity that I didn't get these before!
    these really help me learn a lot!
