git log of linux source in GLSDK

Hi,

I have downloaded GLSDK 7.0 and when I gave git log from "ti-glsdk_dra7xx-evm_7_00_00_04/board-support/linux/ " it is showing the commit logs.

I have copied the linux source from "ti-glsdk_dra7xx-evm_7_00_00_04/board-support/" to different path, then i tried "git log" from linux directory copied to different path, then it is giving following error. Can you please help.

fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git

Hello Kumar,

The latest GLSDK is available for download from downloads.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

processors.wiki.ti.com/.../DRA7xx_GLSDK_7.00.00.04_Release_Notes

Please follow the steps in Software developers guide. downloads.ti.com/.../DRA7xx_GLSDK_Software_Developers_Guide.html

Kumar,

Do you have .git and .repo directories in your new path?

Please run setup-repo.sh script, available in /ti-glsdk_dra7xx-evm_7_00_00_04/bin

Thanks for the reply.

I think setup-repo.sh script, available in /ti-glsdk_dra7xx-evm_7_00_00_04/bin is for complete glsdk.

can you please tell me how I can check out only kernel of GLSDK7.0 .

At first see http://git.ti.com/glsdk/glsdk
To clone only GLSDK use - git://git.ti.com/glsdk/glsdk.git

Please try to follow the workaround described in this post - e2e.ti.com/.../1021266

For example with using repo:
cd .repo/repo
git checkout -b working <commit number>
cd ../..
./bin/repo init -u git://git.ti.com/glsdk/release-manifest.git -m DRA7xx-uevm.xml
./bin/fetch-sources.sh
