Ubuntu 12 host setup not working

I face troubles in environment setup for the Android tool chain and build environment in the Ubuntu 12.04 32 bit machine.

I hope it would work with ubuntu 12.04 too.

While adding the repo

$ sudo add-apt-repository "deb-src archive.canonical.com/ubuntu lucid partner"


I am getting error as follows
Error: 'deb-src archive.canonical.com/ubuntu lucid partner' invalid

Hi Titus,

Nothing seems to work out for me.

Even JAVA installation is throwing error and not able to resolve by following the mentioned steps.

What is the Ubuntu version where all listed procedures are tested ? Or is there any other latest SDK release for android ??
