Blackhawk USB560V2 System Trace Emualtor 14 pin connector working but 20 pin connector is not working

Dear Pavel,

In our project, CCSV6.0 has connected to custom board by 14 pin of Blackhawk USB560v2 system trace emulator and it is working. In similar way of 20 pin of BH560v2 system trace emulator is not working .Can you resolve this problem?

Hi,
What is your processor ?
What problem are you getting when you do "Test connection" in CCS IDE?
Could you check hw connection ?
Always we would like you to suggest to use this forum for Linux related queries.

DM8168 Processor.

Test connection showing that cannot communicate to target.

Hello Balaji,

What is the connector you are having in the target board ? 14 pin or 20 pin ?

Please verify your hardware connection with respect to the below wiki.

If possible, please share the JTAG portion of your schematics design ?

Are you sure BH560v2 is in working condition ? Please check the BH560v2 in some other board and ensure its functionality.

Hi,

If your JTAG debugger is one of the two as shown in the link below, they require a MIPI HSPT 60-pin to cTI 20-in adapter. In this case, I wonder if the cTI 20-pin adapter is somehow faulty.

Despite I don't see anything particularly wrong with the schematics, please take a look at the page sent by Senthil, especially section 7.1.

Also, check the page below to see if you find a match to the error message you are seeing.
