The WXGA setting method by the drm driver?

Hi,

I want to display WXGA using processor-sdk 2.00.01.07 in AM335x.
The environment uses beagleboneblack where there is any image output.
It is displayed by default in 1280x1024-60fps.

Please tell me what kind of change I should perform to display an image in WXGA.
I do not seem to define the image size with the dts file.

Please tell me the method to change the image size using a driver of drm.

Best Regards,
Shigehiro Tsuda

  • Hi Shigehiro Tsuda,

Here is a link to DRM driver tutorial:

For changing the resolution check the linked below tutorials:

    processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Adding_new_DVI_resolutions

If you need to calculate the display timings for a desired resolution use the video timing calculator at:

  • Hi Shulev,

    Thank you for quick reply.

I referred to these information, but did not understand a detailed method.
I think that a method is different from the resolution change by the driver of DSS.
Please tell me the resolution change by the driver of DRM of am335x.
Will you really teach the commands or the sources change about a resolution change procedure using ti-processor-sdk-am335x 02_00_02_11 or 02_00_01_07?
