Hi,

We have Jacinto 6 infotainment EVM kit (having CPU board, JAMR3 Application board and Touch Screen Display) and we are using ti-processor-sdk-linux-automotive-dra7xx-evm-03.00.00.03 on it.

The board is up with default SDK images however nothing is getting displayed over the attached LCD.

Can you please provide information how we can get our display up and working?

Hi Ridhi,

Which revision of the Jacinto6 EVM you are using exactly? Note that Release 03.00.00.03 support DRA75/74 Rev-H and Rev-G EVM.

Thanks for your response.

We are using Rev-H of Jacinto6 EVM.

Earlier we were using "dra7-evm.dtb". Now we changed our dtb to "dra7-evm-lcd-osd.dtb".
We are now able to see display, however only with a text "Please Wait..." and a cursor. Nothing is happening even after touching the screen.

What exactly is shown on display? Is there any proper GUI or a console terminal visible when SDK images are used?
Is something missing that needs to be done further?

Ridhi,

If the LCD screen stays in "Please wait...", press Ctrl-Alt-F1 to go to the command line on LCD console.
