Setting of linux kernel debug in CCSv6

Hi,

Please tell me the kernel debug method of linux kernel 4.4.12 in CCSv6.

"Enable Prompt for development and/orincomplete code/drivers support under General Support" writes it in Lab Steps 6 of "Build The Linux Kernel for Debug" of the following URL.

I use ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-03.00.00.04, but the item mention above is not found in menuconfig of kenrel.
Is this setting not particularly necessary for linux kernel 4.4.12 included in ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-03.00.00.04?
If other setting is necessary in linux kernel 4.4.12, please tell me the necessary setting.

In the following site, there is a mention to kernel 3.8.
