Linux/BEAGLEBN: Need to install mono framework on BBB

Part Number: BEAGLEBN

Tool/software: Linux

When running the Linux on ARM distribution that comes with the Sitara Linux SDK.   apt-get seems not to be installed on this one, which is what I would try if it was Ubuntu distribution.  I think this is a Debian distribution, but if someone could clear that up for me, that is helpful also.

Obviously the overriding goal is to check out mono debugging on BBB (bbone black), running sitara linux SDK distro.

Uname -a shows: Linux am335x-evm 4.4.41-gf9f6f0db2d #1 PREEMPT Wed Mar 29 17:37:15 EDT 2017 armv7l GNU/Linux

I recently loaded and configured the SDK, kernel version seems up to date.    If anyone can point me in the right direction to get started debuggin mono on target board, that is helpful.

Thanks in advance.
