Hi

i would like to know how to change a codec's name in codec server, and make it work.

for universal_copy example, using XS(RTSC Codecs Package Wizard), I can create codec with the name "universal_copy". then, integrate it into a codec server. "universal_copy" can be opened in my application.

But when I change the name to something like "uni_copy" in the RTSC Codec Package, "uni_copy" can be integrated into server. But "uni_copy" cannot be opened in my application. I changed corresponding codec server configuration like myCodecServer.cfg.

anywhere else shall I modify? I searched in the whole project files, no more match occurred.

can anyone help on this?

i'm using dvsdk2.0

thanks.

DM6467 dvsdk codec server
