I tested davincieffect.mp3 on DM3730 mp3 codec (v01.31.01) and found it is easy to get decode error (0x2055) and has corrupted sound or quits decoding when using a large number of output buffers (e.g. 200 up to 1000) (cached is worse than noncached). But for 3 output buffers, there is no error and sound quality issue. The AAC codec doesn't have this issue. I tried some mp3 file, some are fine and other not. How is the mp3 decoding error related to number of output buffers? or maybe the mp3 codec is not torlorated to non-fatal errors?
