I debug usb-serial demo in starterware 1.0.3 on the xlt1808(the same as LOGICPD Kit), In windows xp , The pc can't recognize USB devices, can't get the vid and device id of the device; In windows 7, The pc can get the vid and device id,but setup the usb-serial driver error form "AM1808_StarterWare_1_00_03_03\tools\usb_inf“,who can give me some good idea?
who can give me light? run the example usb_dev_serial in the starterware 1.0.3 ,the pc can't detect the usb device. the hardware manager indicate "unknow device",and can't get vendor id and device id.
Similar issue has been observed when the examples were built using TMS470 tool chain (http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/StarterWare_01.00.03.03_Release_Notes#Known_Issues_and_Limitations: SDOCM00080255).
If you are using TMS470 tool chain, please check if using CodeSourcery GCC tool chain helps.
