online firmware upgrade with twincat

I am not sure if the firmware update example actually supports a permant update. For me this is just an example on how the process works. For a real production system you need to fully understand the process and adapt it for your board and make it failsafe. E.g. I assume you want to save the new application in permanent memory without overwriting the old one (just so you have a fall back in case of errors).

The example seems to replace only the application in RAM. If you reboot and the app is taken from SDcard it will be the old one anyway again.

So I suggest you single step through the example to get a full understanding.

we are using SDK 1.1.0.1 Ethercat_application  and ICE AM3359

We are refering the below link to upgrade the firmware from twincat

But it seems the down load is completed and we do see the Firmware download completed in UART console

But when we do a Hard reset on Board, the recent downloaded application is not exected on target

As one of the feed back from TI was the application will be parmanently flashed.

Can any one help me to solve, Has any one successfully updated the F/W online ?
