how to use gel file for BBB in CCS5

I have CCS 5 installed and starterware. I have installed the BBB patch also.

I have a XDS100V3 connected to my BBB rev C board JTAG.

My target configurations only show "Beaglebone" and not Beaglebone black.

I downloaded a the BeagleBlack_400Mhz_4GbDDR.gel file but I do not know how to import or use it for my starterware projects.

Help???

Hi David,

The CCSv5 version might not support Beaglebone Black device hence it might not be visible in the drop down menu. You can post a query on CCS forum to verify whether CCSv5 supports Beaglebone Black.

The StarterWare 02.00.01.01 is supported through CCS 5.4.0.00091.

Hey! David:
The best choice to use the IASDK is CCS V5.5 , IDK 1.1.0.4 , NDK 2.22.3.20, SYS/BIOS 6.35.4.50. By the way ,you may take the refence for gel information in www.deyisupport.com/.../17684.aspx (Sorry! It's the Chinese TI E2E )
