When can we expect to have a working Starterware example for the Vivante Corp. GC320 accelerator sub-system that is included on the SOC AM5728 (for the X15)?

The available documentation appears to be incomplete ~ like the following are missing from the AM572x (spruhz6d) technical reference manual:

setting-up the Host interface.
documentation for using the Graphics pipeline (commands needed).
drawing and scaling functionality information.
pixel engine commands.

Starterware code would be the ideal jump-point for me to begin using this sub-system.

I am needing a DSP code example for Starterware. In looking through the files I haven't located anything that demonstrates how to use the digital signal processor.

Because the SGX sub-system is unsupported in Starterware I need to explore using a DSP core as a graphic accelerator.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Which device are you referring to? The AM335x is an ARM device. No DSP.

Lali:

The X15 (AM572x) family of processors. It contains both the SGX544 and GC320 graphic accelerators but no support for "bare-metal" code.

So that's why I'm exploring the use of a DSP as an accelerator.
