AM3359 ICEv2 SPI Example / TI Beginner needs some help

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3359

Hi,

i initially posted my question into the Sitara Forum and your collegue Biser Gatchev told me it would be better to ask here.

Below you'll find my recent posts/questions.

Hi,

i'm very new to the TI Stuff.

My Setup:

CCS 6.1.1.00022

AM335X_StarterWare_02_00_01_01

ndk_2_25_00_09

sysbios_ind_sdk_2.1.1.2

AM3359 ICEv2

I need a very simple bare minimum example for implementing SPI communication between the ICEv2 and a Concerto.

I found none.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

You can look in the Starterware folder. Here is a wiki link: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../StarterWare_02.00.01.01_User_Guide

Best Regards
Biser

Thanks a lot for the hint and the link.
By reading through the wiki it did not become that much clearer to me.
Just for your understanding, until now i lived in the arduino world and now i am beginning to work with TI Products.
For example in the arduino world there were allways tiny examples to show the basic functions of a library.
In the wiki link there are several functions for mcspi named but no code example.
Which include files do i need? How to configure it for a basic spi communication as a master?
If my questions imply that there is some basic knowledge missing from my side please let me know and give me some hint where to read first.
The TI world is by now a bit confusing for me.

Thanks in advance for giving me a little help with my start into the TI world.
