Dear All,
Firstly this is a bit urgent and important..
I am using Beaglebone black (the newest one) completely baremetal implementation. I used the XDS100V2 to program and test an ethernet application. I have few leds and a LCD interfaced. All works fine when on debug. I am trying to boot this application from SD card. I am using a 2GB SD card.
I have two issues,
- Am not able to use the built bootloader bin file (renaming the 44 odd Kb file to MLO), this dosent work. I am not able to cross check in Console UART as i have only a bandwidht limited USB-SER converter. I cannot clock 115200 baud. But it just dosent work. I have tried even the blinky code. But surprisingly it all works correct with the pre-built MLO. Can you guide me out of this ? I want to add some LED indicator to the bootloader to tell the user that its loading the code and it might take a while to start. Please help
- Second and more critical issue is with booting my application. The application behaviour is fine with debugger. But when i use the SD card boooting with pre build MLO (26kB), it boots in around 1 minute time (application size is a huge 38Mb... why ??? no idea) . But the applicaiton behaviour is altered. My display (20x4 char) keeps shifting and also my lwip app misbehaves a bit. Can anyone give a clue.
Please help me out guys. Most forum queries seems to be a bit old or even before BBB patch was release. Kindly guide me out of these.
