I want to implement DCAN on AM335x ICE v2 board.
I have AM335x_starterware_2.0.1.1.
I know it is for EVM board .
So what are the required changes needed to implement it on ICE board .

Just to get started, were you able to run the loopback test located at C:\ti\pdk_am335x_1_0_4\packages\ti\starterware\examples\dcan\frame_tx_rx\ccs\dcan_app_loopback on the ICEv2 board?
dcan_app_frame_tx_rx does not work as you might have noticed, and would need some changes which I'm looking into.

Are you able to provide a test project that I can try on my side?
Did you try to set break points in your code on RX path to see where its failing?
Are your cable connections correct according to the ICEv2 schematic http://processors.wiki.ti.com/images/f/fb/Tmdsice3359_3h0013_sch_rev2_1a.zip ? Just want to ensure that your HW setup is ok.
Also notice that Jumper J8 on the board might need a jumper between pins 2 & 3 for GND. Please check the schematic if this is correct.

Attached is a procedural document on how to get the DCAN port working on the ICEv2 where you are TX and RX traffic externally. This is a board-board example with the AM335x GPEVM.
It describes the pinmux file changes, etc that are needed. Hope this helps.
