Starterware/AM4376: bare metal example on UART1

Hello eveybody ,

please I m in C , UART0 fine all the time , UART1 I m not able to make it work ( code is made modular so ideally I can move )

do you have a bare metal example I can test on UART1 ?

I follwed also this post https://e2e.ti.com/support/embedded/starterware/f/790/t/356981 but it is still not working

could you help me ?

any hints on what to check ?

Please take a look at this application note. Should be a similar process for the AM437x. Hope it helps.

Carlo,

What board you are testing with UART1? Is it a TI EVM or your customized board? The link Lali provided has all the details how to change UART on BBB AM335x board, the similar process should work on AM437x as well. Do you use any TI Processor SDK RTOS package for this and what release?

You mentioned your code doesn't work, do you have proper connection of TX, RX and GND of UART1 so it is only a software issue?
