Starterware/am4377: I2C with DMA example application

Is there an example on how to use and set up i2c with DMA mode instead of polling? There is an i2c example in pdk_am437x_1_0_5 however the I2C_APP_OPMODE_DMA is not filled out it just states:

Hi,

I looked at the pdk_am437x_1_0_5 and the latest pdk_am437x_1_0_6, I didn't find the string "I2C_APP_OPMODE_DMA" or the comment "TODO: Support for DMA mode shall be added later".

From what I knew, we don't have I2C with DMA support yet on AM437x. In the code, we have some "I2C_DMA_ENABLE", this is the placeholder for the future code.

Hi,

Well, according to the documentation of the am437x EDMA is supported with i2c. ( www.ti.com/.../spruhl7f.pdf ) found here ( www.ti.com/.../technicaldocuments ). Page 3249 mentions EDMA requests and page 3258 mentions DMA events.
