Linker error: placement fails for object ".text"

HI all,

 I am trying to run the sample thread application thats specified in the DSP-BIOS 6 User guide ( sample task application) .

I have copied the config file as specified in the example in the configuration script as well .  But when I try to build the application it shows the following errors

placement fails for object ".text"  and  placement fails for object ".vecs"   .

Also there are lot of warnings shown  as  "relocation from function" .

The DSP we are using is TMS320C6424  in CCS v4 . Please help .
