ROV->MEM view exception

Which versions of CCS and XDCtools are you using?  And which device?

We are using Code Composer 5.5.0.00077 and XDCtools 3.25.3.72

As update, I noticed that immediately after loading the program, the memory view is working, the exception occurs after running the program (booting the device). As I create additional heaps (MEM_define) during the boot process, I assume the ROV->MEM view has a problem with this.

And to clarify: There is no bug in my code I am trying to find (no memory overwritten or something like that), it is more an issue of getting to know CCS5.

Can you make a small test case for this problem?   My guess is that there's a bug in the ROV host-side code and not any problems in your app.  Ideally, the test case would run on one of TI's standard EVM boards.   We are not actively developing for DSP/BIOS 5.42, but if there's an easy fix for this, we'll include it in the next 5.42.0x point release.

After some experimenting, I found I can indeed make a very small test case based on the evmDM6437 Example "hello example":

The exception occurs immediately after the MEM_define.

I'm looking for a DM6437 board.  I should be able to find one tomorrow and then I'll try your test case.
