Could you please suggest me to use the type of JTAG emulator to use(XDS100v2 or XDS200) on pandaboard es(OMAP4460)???
My requirement is for baremetal application and kernel(Linux/TI RTOS) debugging and also Trace.

Do I need to buy any kind of license to use CCSv6(or for any other versions) for debugging pandaboard es or is it free for all the development boards which has TI's soc??

Hi Jagadish,
As far as I know CCSv6 should be licensed, otherwise you have limitations for your program size (you can't use it for debugging linux kernel, for example). You need to contact your local FAE, in order to obtain license files.
For pandaboard development/debugging the Clock Tree Tool (CTT) & Pad Configuration Tool might be of use to you. They are free and can be downloaded from OMAP4430, OMAP4460 or OMAP4470 product folder.
