Hi,

I am using CCS 6.1 for MSP430F5659 and i am able to run USB CDC example. I am able to monitor USB data in/out using Serial port monitor.

If similar USB data monitoring i want to do on another system which has no USB driver, then please suggest what i should do? which file i need to copy for USB driver update on that system?

I do not understand you question. Do you mean you want to add USB CDC into a different application?

I have laptop with my application (CDC application) loaded to target. i am using MSP-TS430PZ100USB target board. i have 2 USB ports in my laptop which run on Windows OS.

One i connected to FET tool to and another i connected target board directly. On running target i got message to update driver, then as per document i gave the path of ".inf" file for the driver and its working now.

But my question is if my target is connected other PC/Laptop, similar file path i have to give or it automatically detects ? Why i am doubting is for CDC device which is connected windows OS its told we need give the USB driver path.

Are you using TI-RTOS? If so, what version?

Hi,

I am using TI RTOS version "tirtos_msp43x_2_14_03_28".

The Windows .inf files are in MSPWare.
