Working through TI-RTOS Basic - Lab 1, I'm stuck with finding a file..
'The value of this variable [µs/tick] is determined when the TI-RTOS .cfg file is parsed.'
Where is this file?

Hi Todd, Thanks for getting back to me.
All my questions are based on the lab downloaded from:
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Category:BluetoothLE
SimpleLink Academy installer for Windows
http://software-dl.ti.com/lprf/simplelink_academy/setup_simplelink_academy_01_03_00_0000.exe
But I will look at your link with intrest

Hi Todd,
Thanks for getting back to me again.
That helps.
Looking in
C:\Users\Workroom\workspace_v6_1\TI-RTOS_BasicTask_ST
I see I have two .cfg files, one is the flash_debug.cfg, and the other is rom_release.cfg. the first file I think controls the setup of the debug environment, and the second has
/* 10 us tick period */
Clock.tickPeriod = 10;
which I think is the one that is referred to in the lab?
Am I correct
The rom_release.cfg one is greyed out so it is being excluded from the build. I'm not sure why that file was in the project (but excluded from the build). Does not mention it in the write-up. Please note there can only be one .cfg in a project.
So yes, look at the flash_debug.cfg one.
Todd
Hi Todd,
Thanks again for taking the trouble to help me.
I think I'm getting it, very s-l-o-w-l-y though.
The XGCONF is built into CCS, and what you are presented with when you double click on any .cfg file. Have I got this correct?
If so, I think my question is really how do I use this tool to add the clock.period?
Do I have to edit the script directly?
Yours Simon M.
P.S. I can only thing that the ‘rom_release.cfg’ & ‘lab1-main-solution.c ‘are included as solutions to help?
Hi Simon,
You can navigate graphically. For example I selected the Clock module on the right and then modified the Tick period. The "cfg Script" window shows what is changing in the file. It is more to learn what the text settings are in case. We don't recommend doing things graphically and then popping into the "cfg Script" and editing because you might lose something. If you want to do the text, open the file as a text file.
