RTOS/TDA2EG: Align NDK libraries included in the application

Hello Experts,

One of our customer are seeing some strange issues due to nonalignment of NDK/NSP libraries in our application. We see some packet drops in our application. The same application was working earlier and started failing when we updated our internal tools.

Upon comparing working/non working map files we see only difference is the alignment. Now below are my questions

1. Is NDK/NSP have any particular alignment requirements?

2. How to these align libraries using sysbios configuration file. We are using auto generated linker command file.

3. What are all libraries from NDK are included in the application.

Please let me know if any further details are required.

Which version of the NDK are you using? What tools did you update? Can you attach (or send me) the two mapfiles?

NSP - 4.12.00.00
COMPILER - 4.7.4 - gcc-arm-none-eabi-4_7-2013q3
BIOS - 6.41.04.54
XDCTOOLS_VERSION - 3.30.06.67

What tools did you update from? I.e. what were the previous tool versions you were using.

Steve,

Sorry for typo.
Customer didn't change any internal tools , they updated version string from 4.1.1 to 4.1.9 , and its been included in two .cpp files . That's it . Only with this change it starts failing.

Also we saw if we add global integer variable in application (basically adding 4 bytes), it makes issue go away.

So summarizing:
1. Are there any NDK/NSP library alignment requirements?
2. How to align NDK libraries with .xdt file?
3. What all NDK libraries are being used in standard application?
