Hello,

I am trying the training material for TI-RTOS and I have problems with the lab session of the hwi module.

I am using Code Composer Studio v7 and the MSP430 FR5994 LaunchPad Development Board.

I will try to toggle the LED by using an example based on driverlib and it works fine. Specifically, I am using Timer_A1 in continuous mode.

I believe that the problem is associated with the definition of the hwi instance in a graphical way. Below is the configuration. I will also test with the value 48 in the interrupt number, which I think is the correct one.

I hope that you can help me because I am beginning with TI-RTOS and I do not khow what more can I test.

I think your Hwi instance needs to use interrupt number 44 rather than 49.

Your "MSP_EXP430FR5994.cmd" linker command file shows interrupt number 44 being mapped to Timer0_A1:

TIMER0_A1 : { * ( .int44 ) } > INT44 type = VECT_INIT

Interrupt 49 is mapped to the watchdog timer:

WDT : { * ( .int49 ) } > INT49 type = VECT_INIT

Hello,

I tested this value and others.

I have tested again the commented value creating an instance for the two alternatives that I have for defining a new Hwi instance. I have created a new instance for Hwi (ti.sysbios.hal) for the ledToggle function and with the number 44. Later, as the previous one does not work, I have deleted the previous instance and I have created a new one for the option Hwi (ti.sysbios,familiy.msp430) with the same values (as shown).
