Hi,

I'm using the WinCE for AM37xx on EVM platform. The CE build version is 6.0 build 1937.

I tried to reduce EMI by accessing the CONTROL_DSS_DPLL_SPREADING and CONTROL_DSS_DPLL_SPREADING_FREQ registers.

I noticed there was no spreading on the bus and indeed DSS_CONTROL indicates DSS1_ALWON_FCLK is selected (register value is 0).

I tried modifying the source to 0x3 with the spreading control but I got error: by reading DSI_PLL_STATUS I noticed that the PLL is not locked and the PLL is in high jitter condition.

I do all modifications and registry access in the DSS driver and entered all configurations in the relevant section before writing to the GO bit.

I would appreciate if someone could direct me on enabling this feature.

Thanks,

Maor

    Hi

You can take a look to the following post and see if that could help you to set the right parameters to the registers that you want to modify. Here is the link to the post: http://e2e.ti.com/support/embedded/wince/f/353/t/145687.aspx
