WEC7 (AM335x) - Opening/Closing app gives annoying rectangular growing frame on display

Hi

Not sure if this is inherent in WEC7 as I've nothing to compare it to but on my dev kit, if I open My Device I get this really annoying growing rectangular frame on the LCD display as the app opens (or closes for that matter)

If I've 2 apps open and click on the taskbar to select one, I get this growing rectangular frame from the taskbar.

Do others experience this? Is it the way WEC7 works or something that can be disabled?

This effect also manifests itself it a C#.NET app when I'm opening a new form and makes the app look naff. The only way I've found to get around this effect is to have just the one form with multiple tabs.
