Adeneo Demo Images

Hi,

We have downloaded the Adeneo Demo Images from their website.

We are using AM335X EVM.

As we are using Windows 7, formatted the SD Card in Windows Explorer.

Modified 0x1BE location in SD Card to 0x80.

Copied MLO, EBOOTSD.nb0 and NK.bin

The EVM shows the below console messages

CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
Texas Instruments Windows CE SD X-Loader v1.0.0 for AM335x StaterKit - AM33X
Built Jul  4 2014 at 12:51:02
Version BSP_WINCE_ARM_A8 03.01.00.01
open ebootsd.nb0 file
Init HW: controller RST
SDCARD: requested speed 1000000, actual speed 1000000
SDCARD: requested speed 25000000, actual speed 19200000
pBSector Address : 0x4030ADB0
read ebootsd.nb0 file

jumping to ebootsd image

Was anyone able to boot V302 or V310 from AM335X EVM.

I have two EVMs and both of them show the same result.

Any help on this.

Regards,

GSR

  • Hi GSR,

It is not clear to us whether or not your board finally boots or not. What happens after "jumping to ebootsd image"?

From what we see in the log your boot switch seem to target some boot location that does not contain a valid MLO, then falls back on booting from SDCard from where it finds a Xloader (this is what the "CCCCC....." means). If you would change your boot switch to select the SD slot where you inserted your bootable SDcard, this would probably get rid of those and boot faster.

Can you provide more information on what is your issue here?

  • Hi,

Thank You for the reply and time.

Some times the text in bold repeats for three or four times and no other messages are printer on console after "jumping to ebootsd image".

The current issue is EBOOT is not booting where as X-Loader is booted from SD Card on both the EVMs.

      1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

SW4 OFF ON ON ON ON ON ON ON

For Profile Selection 1,2,3 and 4 are set to OFF.

Let me know if any other information is required.

  • Hi Support Team and Forum Members,

How to proceed on this. My understanding is X-Loader boots from SD Card and it reads eboot. It shows that jumping to ebootsd image and eboot is not launched.

    Let me know your thoughts.
